Football Recap: Burncoat Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Burncoat lost against Doherty Memorial back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots were dealt a 44-6 loss at the hands of the Highlanders. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts football rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Highlanders are ranked 71st).

Mario Marrero threw for 35 yards on seven of 12 attempts.

This is the second loss in a row for Burncoat and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Doherty Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Burncoat nor Doherty Memorial have any future games scheduled.
