Preview: Forsan Buffaloes vs. Haskell Indians
The Forsan Buffaloes will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Haskell Indians at 2:20 p.m. on December 15th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Thursday, Forsan lost to Knox City on the road by a decisive 54-40 margin. While losing is never fun, Forsan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 835th, while Knox City is ranked 348th).
Meanwhile, Haskell's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 46-28 to Valley. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Haskell has scored all season.
Forsan now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Haskell, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Forsan ended up a good deal behind Haskell when the teams last played back in February of 2020, losing 60-43. Can Forsan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
