Basketball Game Preview: Orange Glen Patriots vs. Pacific Ridge Firebirds

Last Friday, Orange Glen was beaten by San Pasqual 65-30.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pacific Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past Escondido Adventist Academy, posting a 61-17 win. The Firebirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Pacific Ridge's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Orange Glen, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.

Orange Glen was able to grind out a solid win over Pacific Ridge in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 47-39. Does Orange Glen have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pacific Ridge turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
