Football Recap: Perry Piles Up the Points Against Blackwell

Perry's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 45-0 win over Blackwell. Perry's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Perry's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Andrew Kukuk, who rushed for 62 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns Kukuk has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaxon Miner, who rushed for 33 yards and one touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Perry was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 233 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

Perry's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Blackwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
