Basketball Recap: Othello Comes Up Short

Othello lost against Ellensburg back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Othello Huskies had to suffer through a 69-11 loss at the hands of the Ellensburg Bulldogs. The match marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Othello dropped their record down to 6-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Ellensburg, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

Othello will square off against East Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. East Valley has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Ellensburg, they will challenge Selah at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ellensburg's defense has only allowed 29 points per game this season, so Selah's offense will have their work cut out for them.
