Hardin has gone 7-2 against Anahuac recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hornets will face off against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hardin is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Orangefield just ended the team's five-match winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Anahuac duked it out with Kirbyville on Tuesday. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Wildcats.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22, 24-26, 25-16.

Anahuac's loss dropped their record down to 9-32. As for Hardin, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-16.

Everything went Hardin's way against Anahuac in their previous meeting back in September, as Hardin made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hornets since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
