Basketball Recap: Kingman Comes Up Short

Kingman played a tough game on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 50-24 to the Round Valley Elks. The matchup marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Round Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Poston, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards. Poston has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Hannah Clark, who posted ten points.

Kingman has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Round Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Kingman will take on River Valley in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Kingman is facing River Valley at the right time seeing as River Valley is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Round Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 43-32 loss against San Carlos on the 13th.
