Basketball Recap: McGraw Takes a Loss

McGraw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Groton Red Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 50-40 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

McGraw's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Groton, they moved to 1-4 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

McGraw will challenge Copenhagen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Groton, they will venture away from home to face off against Newfield at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
