Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy Takes Down West Jessamine in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Notre Dame Academy rose to the challenge on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Jessamine Colts. The Pandas haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Dara Jackson went supernova, getting 18 digs and three aces. What's more, she racked up seven assists, the most she's had since back in October.

Despite the loss, West Jessamine still got an impressive performance from Ava Smith, who had 13 digs and one assist. Smith is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

Notre Dame Academy's win bumped their record up to 30-7. As for West Jessamine, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 28-12 record.

Notre Dame Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Bowling Green on the 7th. West Jessamine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
