Glen Iris Baptist extended their winning streak to seven on Friday, bumping them up to 13-1. They blew past the First Assembly Christian Lions 48-18. The Swordsmen have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Glen Iris Baptist got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Everett out in front who shot 47% from the field on his way to 21 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. Those 21 points gave Everett a new career-high. Elliot Dickey was another key player, putting up 17 points and six boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Glen Iris Baptist was working as a unit and finished the game with ten assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as First Assembly Christian only posted one.

As for First Assembly Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Glen Iris Baptist: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the defeat, First Assembly Christian had strong showings from Garrison Williams, who posted five points and six rebounds, and BJ Searcy, who earned no points.
