The White House-Heritage Patriots will venture away from home to face off against the Beech Buccaneers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. White House-Heritage is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Beech will be up against a hot White House-Heritage squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Patriots came out on top against Hendersonville by a score of 5-2 on Thursday.

The team relied heavily on Justin Smith, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Nathan Dixon, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Beech was able to grind out a solid win over Gallatin on Wednesday, taking the game 6-1. The Buccaneers haven't had any issues with the Green Wave recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Kaden Powell was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run. He has become a key player for Beech: the team is 7-2 when he posts at least one home run, but 12-13 otherwise.

In other batting news, Jack Douglass was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Jackson Kennedy was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

White House-Heritage pushed their record up to 21-8 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Beech, their record now sits at 19-15.

White House-Heritage couldn't quite finish off Beech in their previous meeting back in May of 2021 and fell 5-3. Can the Patriots avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
