Soccer Recap: Bloomfield Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Bloomfield's offense. They lost 7-0 to the West Vigo Vikings on Monday.

Bloomfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for West Vigo, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomfield will square off against North Knox at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Vigo, they will face off against Edgewood at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Edgewood's defense has only allowed 0.3 goals per game this season, so West Vigo's offense will have their work cut out for them.
