Basketball Recap: Saint James Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Flint Hill

Saint James is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Flint Hill. The Saint James Saints fell just short of the Flint Hill Huskies by a score of 71-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (64), the Saints still had to take the loss.

Saint James dropped their record down to 4-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Flint Hill, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Saint James will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Maret at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Flint Hill and Potomac School will compete for holiday cheer at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Potomac School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.2 points per game this season.
