Burlington has gone 8-2 against Elkhorn recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Burlington Demons will venture away from home to challenge the Elkhorn Elks at 7:00 p.m. Elkhorn took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Burlington, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row dating back to last season, Burlington turned things around against Union Grove on Friday. They strolled past the Broncos with points to spare, taking the game 73-55. The Demons' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Elkhorn's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 72-71 to Beloit Memorial. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (59), the Elks still had to take the loss.

Having lost for the first time this season, Elkhorn fell to 3-1. As for Burlington, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Burlington came out on top in a nail-biter against Elkhorn in their previous meeting back in January, sneaking past 41-38. Will Burlington repeat their success, or does Elkhorn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
