Jefferson strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Clarke Central Gladiators 42-10. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Dragons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Gladiators are ranked 129th).

Special teams was a major factor in the game for Jefferson, racking up 12 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Max Brown, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Jefferson's defense and their six sacks. Darren Pinkard was especially locked on to Clarke Central's QB and sacked him twice. Jefferson got some further help from Owen Greene: he picked up a sack and made seven total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Clarke Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
