Mikey Proctor Tops All Others This Week

Starting off the list is Crestview's Mikey Proctor, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Proctor made nine total tackles. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (98) he has had since back in October of 2023.

Proctor is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against LaBrae on Friday. When Proctor last faced the Vikings back in October of 2023, he made 13 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Brandyn Bogucki was instrumental in extending Garfield's winning streak to seven on Friday. Bogucki did his part (and then some), making two total tackles and defending two passes for the 'W'. Garfield Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Harper Troyer

Garfield picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Harper Troyer. Troyer rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in August.

On the season, Troyer has run in 8 touchdowns while averaging 53.3 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after nine games last season, he was only averaging 16.22 rushing yards per game.

Gage Phares Makes Top Five

Rounding off our Top Five is Gage Phares of Newton Falls. Phares rushed for 68 yards, and also picked up 56 receiving yards. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made six total tackles.

Newton Falls is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9. Phares will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Champion on Friday.
