Basketball Game Preview: South Shore International Tars vs. Chicago Vocational Cavaliers

The South Shore International Tars will face off against the Chicago Vocational Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chicago Vocational took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on South Shore International, who comes in off a win.

South Shore International is headed into the game having just posted their biggest win since February 8, 2024 on Friday. Everything went their way against EPIC Academy as South Shore International made off with a 44-21 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tars.

Meanwhile, Chicago Vocational was not able to break out of their rough patch back in December of 2024 as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 93-10 loss at the hands of Morgan Park. The contest marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

South Shore International's win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Chicago Vocational, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.

South Shore International came up short against Chicago Vocational in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, falling 70-58. Thankfully for South Shore International, Ron Thigpen (who posted 21 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
