River Oaks got themselves on the board against Porter's Chapel Academy on Thursday, but Porter's Chapel Academy never followed suit. They were the clear victor by a 12-0 margin over the Porter's Chapel Academy Eagles. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Makaih White made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. White was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. That triple was his first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jayden Davis, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and one double. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI. Kenton Mercer was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-3.

River Oaks pushed their record up to 11-5 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Porter's Chapel Academy, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.
