Mapleton waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Western Reserve Roughriders. The Mounties might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

Mapleton's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Western Reserve, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Mapleton will challenge Monroeville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Western Reserve, they will take on Mansfield Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Roughriders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Flames have averaged an impressive 11.9 runs per game this season.
