Baseball Recap: Pennington Triumphs

Pennington won the last time they faced Vinemont and things went their way on Monday too. The Pennington Tigers walked away with a 7-4 win over the Vinemont Eagles.

Caleb Parsons was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Cantrell, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Pennington's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Vinemont, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4.

Pennington will have a chance to go back-to-back against Vinemont: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
