Volleyball Recap: Goodman-Pembine Takes a Loss

Goodman-Pembine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Wabeno/Laona Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Aubrey Tinsman, who had four digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.

Goodman-Pembine's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wabeno/Laona, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Goodman-Pembine has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Three Lakes on the 6th. As for Wabeno/Laona, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Crandon on the 6th.
