Baseball Recap: Crete-Monee Comes Up Short

Crete-Monee lost against Evergreen Park back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Crete-Monee lost 10-4 to Evergreen Park. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bren Milburn made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Kijuan Springfield also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Crete-Monee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Evergreen Park, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crete-Monee will host Bremen at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Evergreen Park, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Simeon at 4:30 p.m.
