If Madison County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Eastside, they should've done a better job of containing Myles Mims. The Eagles enjoyed a cozy 30-14 win over the Red Raiders on Friday thanks in part to Mims, who rushed for 165 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 101 rushing yards.

The victory got Eastside back to even at 3-3. As for Madison County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Eastside will challenge Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors' defense has only allowed eight points per game this season, so the Eagles' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Madison County, they will head out to face off against North Oconee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Raiders will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
