Basketball Game Preview: Bonanza Bengals vs. Green Valley Gators

The Bonanza Bengals will challenge the Green Valley Gators at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Bonanza is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since January 6th on Monday. They lost 69-48 to Faith Lutheran. The Bengals have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Green Valley had just enough and edged Basic out 64-61 on Monday.

Bonanza better keep an eye on Da?Quan Brown. He was instrumental in Green Valley's win, putting up 28 points. Those 28 points gave Brown a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Lamarcus Carter, who posted 15 points.

Green Valley has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for Bonanza, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12.
