Softball Recap: Dutchtown Bulldogs vs. McIntosh Chiefs        
        
		
             If Dutchtown was riding high  off their  18-9 takedown of Morrow last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dutchtown Bulldogs came up short against  the McIntosh Chiefs on Tuesday, falling  14-6. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Chiefs recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
  Ja'Myiah Walker made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  fired off two  home runs, three  runs, and four  RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most  home runs  she has posted since  back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sanaa Hayman, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and  an  RBI.
 Dutchtown's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for McIntosh, the  win was  the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-6.
 Dutchtown will head out to  challenge Northgate  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Dutchtown is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.2  runs per game  this season. As for McIntosh, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  7-6  victory vs. Union Grove on the 11th.
