Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Rams vs. Doane Academy

Riverside is 0-9 against Doane Academy since January of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Riverside Rams will take on Doane Academy at 5:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, Riverside was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 48-43 to Pennsauken Tech. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Pennsauken Tech 7-2 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Doane Academy lost to Palmyra on the road by a 65-48 margin on Wednesday.

This is the second loss in a row for Riverside and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Doane Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Riverside took a serious blow against Doane Academy in their previous meeting two weeks ago, falling 75-35. Can Riverside avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
