Basketball Recap: Choteau Victorious

Choteau's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Rocky Boy Northern Stars by a score of 63-53. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-46 back in December of 2024.

Choteau's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Rocky Boy, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Choteau and Rocky Boy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Montana Rankings. Choteau (ranked 59th) will meet Fairfield (ranked seventh) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Rocky Boy will challenge Chinook on Friday down 97 places (120 vs. 23).
