Basketball Recap: Zion Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Dickson Academy

They took their game on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 69-35 win over the Dickson Academy Falcons. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.

Leading Zion Christian Academy to victory were Clara Martin and Willa Hughes. Martin posted 25 points in addition to seven assists and seven rebounds, while Hughes went 9-for-21 on her way to 20 points along with eight boards and three steals. With that strong performance, Martin is now averaging an impressive 16.5 points per game. Another player making a difference was Elli Glass, who scored seven points and four steals.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Zion Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Zion Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Dickson Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
