Softball Recap: Iroquois Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Iroquois's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Union City Bears on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2019.

This is the second loss in a row for Iroquois and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Union City, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Coming up, Iroquois will host Mercyhurst Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Union City, they are taking a road trip to challenge Seneca at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
