Walsh Jesuit extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Riverside. They never let the Beavers get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. Walsh Jesuit might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Riverside from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Freddie Marcell led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Walsh Jesuit's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Riverside, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's still a better percentage than their 2-15-1 record this season.

Walsh Jesuit will square off against Stow-Munroe Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
