Surry Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Forbush proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Surry Central Golden Eagles. For the Falcons, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 defeat the Golden Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September.
Forbush was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 27-29, 25-19, 22-25, 25-18, 15-12.
Forbush found their leader in underclassman Karly Berrier, who had 29 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Berrier has posted in her last eight games.
