Baseball Recap: Liverpool Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Liverpool had won three straight on the road, but on Monday they bumped their record up to 5-8 to make it four. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Northstars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

As for Cicero-North Syracuse, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. The defeat was just more heartbreak for they who fell 7-5 when the teams previously met back in April of 2024.

For Cicero-North Syracuse's part, Jaden Zimmer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run was Zimmer's first of the season. Shacory Williams was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Liverpool will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cicero-North Syracuse: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
