Basketball Recap: Centerville Comes Up Short

Centerville lost against Oakwood back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Centerville Bulldogs took a 30-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakwood Panthers. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Centerville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Oakwood, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centerville will welcome Zavalla at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Oakwood, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Coolidge at 1:00 p.m. Oakwood is facing Coolidge at the right time seeing as Coolidge is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
