Football Preview: Sulphur Bulldogs vs. Perkins-Tryon Demons
The Sulphur Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Perkins-Tryon Demons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Wyatt Atkinson went supernova for Perkins-Tryon, rushing for 67 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. Atkinson also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending two passes. Braiton Applegate was in the mix as well, providing Perkins-Tryon with a touchdown.
Perkins-Tryon's defense stepped up as well, laying out Jordan Deroin. nine times. It was truly a group effort as Ethan Anderson, Applegate, and Applegate picked up two apiece.
Sulphur pushed their record up to 2-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Perkins-Tryon, they now also have a winning record of 2-1.
