Russellville had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. Everything went their way against the Butler County Bears as they made off with a 28-7 victory. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 29-7 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The win got Russellville back to even at 5-5. As for Butler County, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Russellville will face off against Holy Cross at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 33.3 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. Butler County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
