Tunstall waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. Everything went their way against the Liberty Minutemen as they made off with a 13-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on April 8th.

Kinslee Cassell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Harper Lovelace, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Eastwood, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Tunstall pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Liberty, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Looking ahead, Tunstall will square off against Magna Vista at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they have already played their next game, a 10-5 defeat against Brookville on the 2nd.
