 The Fort Wayne HomeSchool Hawks had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy  67-48 victory over Mishawaka HomeSchool W. Given Fort Wayne HomeSchool's advantage  in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings  (they are ranked 48th, while Mishawaka HomeSchool W is ranked 369th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Fort Wayne HomeSchool's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Gavin Reynolds, who  scored 20 points along with eight  assists. That's the first time this season that  Reynolds  posted eight or more   assists.  Sam Newcomer was another key contributor,  scoring 17 points along with six  rebounds and two  steals.
 When it comes to explaining why Mishawaka HomeSchool W lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Colten Dobrodt. Despite the final result, he  scored 20 points along with eight  steals and seven  rebounds. That was a full 41.7% of Mishawaka HomeSchool W's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hayden Blair, who  scored five points along with four  steals.
 Fort Wayne HomeSchool pushed their record up to 19-2 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.0 points per game. As for Mishawaka HomeSchool W, they are  on a four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 6-13.
 Fort Wayne HomeSchool will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Anderson HomeSchool at 7:00  p.m.  on February 6th. As for Mishawaka HomeSchool W, they will take on Angola HomeSchool at TBD on Friday. Angola HomeSchool comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
