Chaminade-Madonna waltzed into their contest on Thursday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Pine Crest Panthers a 3-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Lions, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Santi Arismendi looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Chaminade-Madonna's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Chase Potter, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Chaminade-Madonna pushed their record up to 22-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
