It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Heritage Academy had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They blew past Heritage Academy 12-2. Heritage Academy's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Addy Gillespie made a big impact no matter where she played. She pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Heritage Academy got a massive performance out of Maya Zappa, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Kenia Martin was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI.

Heritage Academy were getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .586. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
