After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sports Leadership & Management, Canyon Springs was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Valley Vikings as they made off with a 23-2 win. That 21 run margin sets a new team best for the Pioneers this season.

Canyon Springs' victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Valley, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-16.

Coming up, Canyon Springs will welcome The Meadows School at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Pioneers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season. As for Valley, they are taking a road trip to challenge Boulder City at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
