Portage lost to Tri-County back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 win over the Penguins.

Portage easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16.

Eliana Considine paced Portage's offense, picking up nine kills. Considine got some help from Kate Stevenson and her 13 assists. Stevenson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Addison Zuther, each putting up two.

Portage's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Tri-County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Portage will challenge McFarland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tri-County, they will face off against Wild Rose at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
