Baseball Recap: Canby Takes a Loss

Canby came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Wabasso Rabbits by a score of 5-3 on Friday.

Jace Sigler was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Canby's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wabasso, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Canby will challenge Ortonville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wabasso, they will face off against St. Mary's at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
