Newburyport had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Georgetown Royals with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Clippers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Newburyport's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Georgetown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Newburyport is set to challenge their familiar foe Pentucket Regional at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Georgetown will square off against rival Hamilton-Wenham Regional at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
