Basketball Recap: Tilden Takes a Loss

Tilden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Harlan Falcons, falling 79-21. The Blue Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-12.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harlan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hezikiah Cooks, who posted 22 points. The dominant performance gave Cooks a new career-high in points. Jameel Patterson was another key player, putting up 21 points.

Tilden's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Harlan, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

As of now, neither Tilden nor Harlan have any future games scheduled.
