Basketball Recap: Titusville Takes a Loss

Titusville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Seneca Bobcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rockets of the 58-44 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2018.

Seneca got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gt Rupp out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Wettekin, who posted nine points.

Titusville's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Seneca, the victory snapped their losing streak at nine games and leaves them with a 2-11 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Fort LeBoeuf the next time they take the court. Seneca will host Fort LeBoeuf at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Titusville will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on January 21st.
