Baseball Recap: Biloxi Takes a Loss

Biloxi lost against Ocean Springs last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Biloxi came up short against Ocean Springs, falling 11-1. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Biloxi saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tristain Haynes, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases.

Biloxi now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Ocean Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ocean Springs beat Biloxi by a score of 5-1 on Saturday.
