Soccer Recap: St. Charles North Finds Playoff Glory Versus Mchenry

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but St. Charles North had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the McHenry Warriors a 4-0 shutout. The high-scoring effort was just what St. Charles North needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

They hit McHenry with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Oliver Longosz (2), Dino Valenti, and Wicho DelaPaz.

St. Charles North's victory bumped their record up to 9-6-3. As for McHenry, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7-2.

Coming up, St. Charles North will venture away from home to face off against Huntley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. McHenry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
