Soccer Recap: University Christian vs. Carolina Day
After flying high against Christian Family Academy last Friday, University Christian came back down to earth. The University Christian Barracudas lost 9-0 to the Carolina Day Wildcats on Tuesday. The Barracudas haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
University Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Carolina Day, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.
University Christian will challenge Gaston Day at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carolina Day, they will play host again on Thursday to welcome Pisgah, where kickoff is scheduled at 6:15 p.m. One thing working in Carolina Day's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
