Recap: Mendenhall Tigers vs. Northeast Jones Tigers
The Mendenhall Tigers lost against the Northeast Jones Tigers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Mendenhall fell 41-32 to Northeast Jones. Mendenhall has struggled against Northeast Jones recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Northeast Jones' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Erin Jefferson, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jefferson has scored at least a third of Northeast Jones' points. Another player making a difference was Diamond Robinson, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
Mendenhall dropped their record down to 10-12 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Northeast Jones, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.
Mendenhall does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Northeast Jones also has no future games currently scheduled.
