Softball Recap: Leeton Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Leeton's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. Everything went their way against the Osceola Indians as they made off with a 16-2 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Leeton pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Osceola, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Coming up, Leeton will square off against Cole Camp at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Osceola has already played their next contest (against Archie), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
